New Refrigerator Off-Gassing
I have been in my current home for 12 years with the same refrigerator that was here when we moved in… I'm considering a new refrigerator, yet am stalling, due to the off gassing of new units. (I've been "considering" a purchase for 6 years!). I have searched the web and found very little discourse and no refrigerators that are manufactured with materials that do not off gas.
Sleep Number Bed Odor
have owned a sleep number bed for about 4 years. The volcanized rubber air chamber still puts off a very strong odor. I can not even turn my pillow over because it will smell to strong. My bed sheets have the odor. In the past you recommended a aluminum camping sheet to block odor from a chair.
Odor from Pine Furniture
I have a pine armoire I have had for 13 years. When I lived in Ca I never noticed the smell but I was forced to close up the room it is in here in MI for a week. When I went into the room the pine smell was very potent. I know it is damper here than in Ca. Could that be bringing out the smell. Is there any thing I can treat this piece with to make the smell go away?
Hardwood Flooring Reeks
have a question of my own this time. We recently bought a new home, tore out the carpet, and replaced it with engineered hardwoods (a week ago) that had to be glued down because part of our split-level is on a concrete slab. This company has installed hardwoods for us on three other occasions without issue. But this time, the floors smell AWFUL.
Odor of Wool Pillows and Mattress
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a natural latex mattress with wool batting, and wool pillows. They have been airing out since I got them, because they smell like little sheeps. The smell is pretty intense, especially for the pillows. I did many reasearch in the Internet and could not find any customers complaints about bad smell of wool pillows.
